Sand

Falling, rushing, flowing, soft, smooth, silky
Endless miles of it along beaches and oceans,
Varying from white to black, covering the color spectrum;
This is sand to me.

Long hours getting it out of your clothes,
Always changing who makes it,
That is sand to me.
